Whew. I know it's been a while, but a lot has gone on. We've been preparing for a dedication of 9 homes (the biggest dedication we've had) at work, which thankfully went off without a hitch last Thursday. I turned 21 on 6/27, my brother turned 17 on 6/30 and yesterday we had Independence Day :). Fun week. Thank you so much to ![[profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
emerish for the birthday gift! <3 you're the greatest, my dear. Yesterday was the first time I bought beer by myself, for a get-together after the fireworks. I didn't have a party, though I might later, so this counted as a small thing with friends. Had a person from high school flirting outrageously with me as he was drunk off his mind, but one of the guys I came with rescued me. My hero ;).
Been taking full advantage of our Fios deal and catching up on a lot of movies. I'm on a huge First Class binge (oh. my. god. the slash in that movie! and the actors just encourage it!), so I'm all about X-Men right now, along with Inception. Can't believe I waited so long to see that movie! Also saw (500) Days of Summer, Wanted, and Shakespeare in Love. This on-demand thing is a genius invention!
